Medicare Sales Advisor Job Overview
As a Medicare Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding Medicare-eligible clients through their healthcare options. This full-time, remote opportunity allows you to work from home and make a significant impact by helping seniors understand and enroll in the best Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plans based on their needs. Working as part of a national brokerage, you will be provided with all inbound leads—eliminating the need for cold calling—and benefit from comprehensive training, licensing support, and a performance-driven commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and web callbacks from clients seeking Medicare plan assistance.
- Assess clients' needs and recommend suitable Medicare Advantage, Supplement, or Part D plans using a streamlined quote-and-enroll platform.
- Complete electronic applications (e-apps) in full compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and accurately log all client interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow up on pending business to maximize placement rates and increase renewals, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Mentor new representatives as you advance, providing guidance and support to help them succeed.
Qualifications
- Experience in phone-based sales, call center operations, or customer service is highly valued.
- Ability to efficiently navigate multiple web tools and platforms while communicating with clients.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a strong drive to achieve and exceed personal performance goals.
- Authorization to work in the United States as a 1099 contractor.
Schedule and Tools Provided
- Core working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in your local time zone, with optional evening and Saturday shifts available for increased lead flow.
- All Medicare Sales Advisors receive a consistent flow of inbound leads, access to national carrier contracts, a secure e-application platform, CRM access, compliance and E&O coverage, and weekly direct-deposit pay.
