Reporting directly to the Director of Medical Science Liaisons, the MSL plays a critical role in supporting medical and scientific initiatives within the rare disease and oncology therapeutic areas. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will act as a bridge between the company and the broader healthcare community, providing up-to-date medical information and supporting ongoing and future clinical research. You will develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the medical field, including clinicians, hospital staff, and researchers, to ensure the dissemination of balanced, evidence-based scientific data. - Acts as a key liaison between the company and healthcare professionals, providing scientific and clinical support.
- Contributes to the advancement of patient care and company strategy through education and relationship-building.
- Reports to the Director of Medical Science Liaisons and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
- Engage with hospital-based clinicians, researchers, and key opinion leaders to provide scientific support and gather insights.
- Share evidence-based data, treatment guidelines, and the latest clinical research with healthcare professionals.
- Develop and continuously update expertise in rare disease and oncology through ongoing training, conference attendance, and literature review.
- Create tailored territory plans to maximize engagement with healthcare professionals and thought leaders at institutions and medical congresses.
- Support clinical trial execution, including recruitment, site outreach, and communication of field insights to Clinical Operations and Clinical Development teams.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with investigators, institutional leaders, and medical groups.
- Provide scientific evidence and clinical trial information to healthcare professionals, payors, and clinical trial staff in a clear, balanced manner.
- Assist in onboarding and training new MSL team members, contributing to curriculum design and implementation.
- Participate in the development and execution of advisory boards and scientific meetings, presenting data as requested.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, including disease management strategies, product approvals, and emerging therapies, and share relevant insights with internal teams.
- Ensure all interactions and activities comply with regulatory, company, and ethical guidelines specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Respond to unsolicited medical questions related to clinical trials and scientific exchange in accordance with company policies.

- Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, RN) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or start-up industry, preferably in Medical Affairs.
- At least 3 years of direct MSL experience and experience working with internal cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in oncology and rare disease therapeutic areas.
- Background in hospital, institutional, or clinical/pharmacy settings.
- Demonstrated drive for excellence, accountability, and professional development.
- Business acumen with strong organizational, planning, and budgeting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present scientific information effectively.
- Analytical ability to interpret complex scientific and clinical research.

- Willingness to travel extensively (up to approximately 60%, including potential for international travel and weekend commitments).
