We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Medical Receptionist to join our primary care team at a leading healthcare facility in Victoria, TX. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our medical office and ensuring each patient receives a positive and efficient experience. Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients and visitors as they arrive at the medical office, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage the scheduling of patient appointments with accuracy, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize appointment flow.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally, directing inquiries and messages to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Facilitate patient intake and check-in procedures, ensuring all required forms and information are accurately collected and entered into the electronic health record system.
- Handle patient billing processes, including collecting payments, providing receipts, and answering billing-related questions.
- Utilize computer software to enter, access, and retrieve patient data, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all records.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout each patient interaction, addressing questions or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Support teamwork within the front office and collaborate with clinical staff to maintain efficient office operations.
- Participate in ongoing learning opportunities to stay current with office systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and standard office software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
