Key Responsibilities

- Manage billing and insurance claims, verifying patient coverage and assisting with claim submissions as needed.
- Monitor patient feedback and satisfaction, addressing concerns and escalating issues to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines, safeguarding patient records and ensuring all sensitive information is handled with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with medical staff to support seamless clinical operations.
- Oversee the reception area to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Implement and manage patient information systems to improve workflow and data accuracy.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care, both in-person and over the phone.
- Demonstrate strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle busy front-desk operations efficiently.
- Utilize attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks, including data entry and maintenance of EHR records.
- Apply a working knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Uphold professional telephone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with patients, team members, and external contacts.
Qualifications
- Experience with patient scheduling, registration, and EHR systems preferred.
- Familiarity with medical billing, insurance claims, and HIPAA compliance regulations.
