Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) Overview

This full-time leadership position is based in Jacksonville, FL, and offers the chance to make a significant impact by guiding both clinical and operational aspects of our center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to a team of primary care providers, including physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Manage a small patient panel, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions, ensuring personalized and value-based care.
- Supervise and mentor the clinical staff, facilitating their professional development through structured training and ongoing support.
- Oversee the implementation of patient care protocols and quality improvement initiatives to optimize health outcomes for patients.
- Collaborate with in-house consulting specialists and leverage holistic health services offered within the clinic, such as cardiology, podiatry, acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition.
- Participate in organizational leadership programs, financial performance reviews, and strategic planning to drive clinic growth and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and participate in ongoing education and training programs.
- Facilitate access to care by supporting transportation initiatives for patients who require assistance.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with prior experience in a supervisory or directorial clinical role preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
