Medical Director (MD/DO), Primary Care About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated Medical Director (MD/DO), Primary Care for a full-time position in Delray Beach, FL. Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a clinical team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Oversee a small patient panel, typically ranging from 60-90 patients, focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Implement and support value-based care initiatives to drive improved health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in and complete specialized training programs, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director and Center Operations, and Leadership Pathways Program.
- Monitor and enhance center financial performance and participate in medical economics initiatives.
- Collaborate with consulting specialists in areas such as cardiology and podiatry to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitate holistic health services, including acupuncture, tai chi, yoga, and nutrition, as part of an integrative care model.
- Support patient access by overseeing transportation services for clinic visits.
- MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
- Access to ongoing leadership training and development programs.
