Medical Director, MD/DO Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Medical Director, MD/DO for a full-time position in Palm Beach County, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) to deliver high-quality, value-based care to a small, focused panel of senior patients with multiple chronic diseases.
- Supervise day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Promote and implement patient-centered care initiatives, including holistic health services and coordinated specialty consultations in cardiology, podiatry, and other disciplines.
- Participate in physician leadership development programs, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director and Center Operations training, and Leadership Pathways Program, to enhance clinical and operational skills.
- Monitor and drive center financial performance, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the clinic.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development among staff.
- Support sales and growth initiatives through community engagement and effective communication with patients and families.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting; prior leadership experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel locally and, on occasion, regionally as required.
