- Supervise and guide a large team of medical coders and auditors, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and organizational standards.
- Monitor team productivity and quality, ensuring that benchmarks are consistently met or exceeded.
- Manage staffing levels and oversee the training and professional growth of team members.
- Coordinate and schedule coding activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all assignments.
- Validate and report team work efforts accurately, maintaining detailed records as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a biological science.
- Five years of medical coding experience, including both out-patient and in-patient coding.
- Experience with MHS Genesis system medical coding.
- One year of experience as a medical coding auditor.
- Previous experience leading a large team of medical coders, consistently delivering quality and productivity outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to utilize pivot tables, power queries, advanced formulas, data validation, and build executive-level reports.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize large workbooks and manage data efficiently.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

- Holds one or more of the following certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Specialist – Physician (CCS-P).
