Responsibilities- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their appointments with providers.
- Accurately record patient information, including vital signs, into electronic health records (EHR).
- Access, upload, and manage medical records to support patient care and documentation requirements.
- Ensure all documentation accurately reflects each patient encounter and the provider's plan of care.
- Verify insurance eligibility to facilitate smooth check-in and billing processes.
- Administer injections as directed by providers, maintaining patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Sterilize and maintain exam rooms and medical instruments according to established protocols.
- Assist providers with medical procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
