Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with overseeing the direction and overall planning of mechanical projects.
- Handle project documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate the scheduling and timely delivery of materials required for ongoing projects.
- Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify project details and maintain clear communication between all parties involved.
- Develop and submit detailed submittal packages for client and regulatory approval.
- Process and track project invoicing, ensuring that all financial aspects are handled efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee document management, including the organization and distribution of project-related information.
- Assist with equipment buyout processes, ensuring the timely procurement of necessary tools and machinery for project completion.
- Support project duration planning by helping to create and maintain project timelines and schedules.
- Maintain and update the product list, ensuring all items are accounted for and available as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets established standards and project specifications.
- Participate in regular inspections to verify that all aspects of the project adhere to safety and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, preferably within the mechanical contracting or construction industry.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
