Mechanical Construction Project Manager - Summary

- Work in partnership with project superintendents on day-to-day project activities.
- Review and verify accuracy of project estimates and job cost system entries.
- Conduct and document pre-job, planning, and ongoing project meetings.
- Develop, update, and communicate project schedules to all stakeholders.
- Monitor personnel schedules to align with project demands.
- Negotiate and execute subcontract and equipment buy-outs to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct daily job site or onsite office visits to inspect progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform work inspections and resolve project or contract-related issues promptly.
- Investigate and implement corrective measures for potentially serious issues.
- Track and process all changes to the project scope in a timely and organized manner.
- Provide material takeoff, estimation, and pricing for changes to the scope of work.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing mechanical construction projects.
- Proven negotiation skills with construction change orders and presentations.
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex, multi-faceted project challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply contractual documents, plans, and schematic diagrams.
- Proficiency in technical and business writing, with strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).

- Physical ability to navigate active construction sites safely and efficiently.
