The Event Marketing Specialist (Contractor) is an integral member of the marketing team, focused on creating and executing impactful brand experiences through multi-channel campaigns and events. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute experience-driven marketing strategies, working closely with team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals and audience insights.
- Lead collaboration across departments, including creative, digital, and operations, to coordinate messaging, logistics, and timelines for campaigns and events.
- Manage multiple campaigns and experiential projects simultaneously, overseeing the process from concept through completion to ensure consistency and high impact.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to create integrated marketing plans that bring the brand to life through engaging, intentional touchpoints across digital and in-person channels.
- Maintain documentation, craft compelling visual presentations, and generate status reports to keep all stakeholders informed on project progress and outcomes.
- Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize future initiatives.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, maintaining alignment and accountability across all workstreams and project phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles, with an emphasis on experiential or integrated marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across various departments within a matrixed environment.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the capability to distill complex concepts into clear, engaging, and persuasive content.
- Proven relationship-building skills, including the ability to foster connections across internal teams and with external partners to achieve shared goals.
- Track record of leading successful marketing initiatives that span both digital and in-person engagement points.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event marketing, brand activations, or customer experience strategy is highly advantageous for this position.
- Familiarity with nonprofit, mission-driven, or high-volume marketing environments is preferred.
- Background in working within a hybrid team structure that blends creative innovation with analytical rigor.
