Market Research Manager - Summary
- Lead and manage primary research projects from design through to analysis, reporting, and organizational socialization.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver insights that shape key business, brand, marketing, communications, and fundraising strategies.
- Build and oversee programs for brand health, segmentation, and campaign testing to support enterprise objectives.
- Apply rigorous analytical methods across all research projects to ensure data integrity and actionable outcomes.
- Present research findings in a narrative format, utilizing data visualization to drive clarity and executive decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end execution of primary research initiatives, including study design, fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
- Translate research insights into impactful recommendations for brand, marketing, communications, and fundraising teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to align research activities with organizational goals.
- Develop, manage, and optimize brand health and segmentation programs, including creative, message, and concept testing.
- Ensure research rigor by applying best practices in sampling, weighting, and execution across both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Create executive-ready presentations and reports that clearly communicate insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize advanced statistical software, such as SPSS, and demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Market Research, Statistics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a marketing insights or related research function.
- Expertise in advanced, customized research methodologies, including segmentation, tracking, discrete choice/conjoint analysis, max diff, ethnography, and web usability studies.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research studies.
- Hands-on experience with SPSS or comparable statistical analysis software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present insights to executive and senior leadership audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities.
