Manufacturing Equipment Technician - Summary- Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment used in solar panel production.
- Works collaboratively with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensures compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and component replacement.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using a variety of mechanical and electrical tools and techniques.
- Execute timely repairs to minimize operational downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Develop, implement, and follow preventative maintenance programs to enhance equipment lifespan and reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs carried out.
- Regularly inspect equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards, such as lock-out/tag-out procedures, machine guarding, and electrical safety protocols.
- Ensure all equipment meets company and regulatory quality and safety standards.

- Minimum two years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in solar panel or electronics manufacturing is advantageous but not required.
