The Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in optimizing and advancing production processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority on manufacturing methods, equipment selection, automation strategies, and process capability initiatives. Manufacturing Engineer - Summary- Full-time position focused on optimizing manufacturing methods and technologies
- Leads the integration of automation, robotics, and advanced process controls

- Serve as technical authority for manufacturing methods, equipment selection, automation strategy, and process capability
- Develop and maintain long-term manufacturing technology roadmaps, focusing on automation, robotics, digital manufacturing, and advanced process control
- Oversee the selection, installation, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
- Act as key liaison with equipment vendors, managing build schedules, FAT/SAT, and ongoing vendor performance
- Research and apply advanced manufacturing methods, including process and material handling automation
- Collaborate with maintenance and mechanic personnel to resolve chronic equipment and system issues, document best practices, and provide training
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating and implementing layout changes for improved efficiency
- Mentor and train Manufacturing Process Engineers and Process Specialists, offering technical guidance and leadership
- Champion manufacturing readiness for New Product Introductions, ensuring robust process capability, quality performance, and throughput
- Ensure compliance with Technology Control Plans and Federal Export Control Policy, including ITAR/EAR requirements

- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience designing and maintaining automated equipment with PLCs, Stepper and Servo Control Systems, HMIs, and industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc)
- Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley) preferred
- Ability to write and review technical and process documentation
- Ability to create and modify schematic drawings using AutoCAD
- Preferred experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD design
- Proficiency with PLC ladder logic, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with industrial controls systems and knowledge of electrical theory and principles
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing projects
