Key Responsibilities- Begin your career as a financial professional, building foundational knowledge in financial products, client relationship management, and business development.
- Provide tailored financial solutions to individuals, families, and small businesses by leveraging your understanding of client needs and New York Life’s robust suite of insurance and investment products.
- Complete an initial period of hands-on experience, learning the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges faced by financial professionals.
- Participate in a comprehensive training program, gaining expertise in marketing, prospecting, sales, and client service, with access to advanced digital tools and support resources.
- After meeting performance benchmarks during your first year, transition into a six-month intensive management training program to prepare for the role of Field Manager.
- Recruit, mentor, and coach new financial professionals, supporting their growth and development within the organization.
- Lead and build a successful team, creating a positive and productive work environment while driving business growth.
- Continue professional development and pursue advancement opportunities within New York Life’s management career track.
- Prior experience in sales, business management, or as an entrepreneur is preferred.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly regarded but not required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and client-centered service.
- Ability to obtain required securities licenses and FINRA registrations prior to offering investment products.
