Mammography Technologist (ARRT, Radiology Technologist) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures according to established protocols.
- Adhere to all radiation safety policies and procedures, ensuring patient and staff safety at all times.
- Position patients properly, make necessary technical adjustments, and provide clear instructions to ensure accurate imaging.
- Process and submit digital images for radiologist interpretation, maintaining the highest standards of image quality.
- Maintain detailed records and accurate documentation for all procedures in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Conduct system calibrations, quality control procedures, and routine maintenance checks on imaging equipment.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, initiate repair procedures, and ensure minimal disruption to workflow.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media, respond promptly to emergencies, and provide appropriate support as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of $57.43, in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday schedule.
- No on-call duties and no travel requirements for this position.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or degree from a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program required.
- Active ARRT certification in Mammography is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist within the last two years preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current radiologic and mammography procedures, safety standards, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
