Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of commercial laundry equipment.
- Ensures efficient operation of all assigned machinery to support daily production within the plant.
- Performs preventive maintenance and emergent repairs as required.
- Collaborates with engineering, technical staff, and vendors to resolve complex issues.
- Conducts preventative maintenance activities on all equipment as per schedule.
- Completes timely and quality repairs, including maintenance of overhead rail and conveyor systems.
- Assists technical and mechanical personnel, including outside vendors, when needed.
- Maintains detailed maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and reporting new problems.
- Communicates equipment status and impacts on production to Production Supervisors.
- Identifies and corrects issues such as jams, missing belts, and faulty ironer tape.
- Adheres strictly to all company safety procedures and maintains a clean, safe work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
