The Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial laundry facilities. This full-time position is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on a wide range of specialized equipment. Daily tasks include scheduled preventative maintenance, responding to emergent repair needs, and taking proactive steps to identify and correct equipment issues during production. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate closely with the engineering team and other technical personnel to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Maintenance Technician - Summary- Full-time role responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in a commercial laundry plant.
- Supports uninterrupted production operations by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Collaborates with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as outlined in maintenance schedules.
- Complete all assigned repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment such as overhead rail and conveyor systems.
- Assist technical and mechanical staff, including external vendors, as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and new issues.
- Notify production supervisors of any equipment status changes that may impact production or cause downtime, and provide updates when equipment is back online.
- Identify and resolve equipment issues, including jams, missing belts, and ironer tape problems.
- Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tag out and confined space entry procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.
