The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on commercial laundry plant equipment. This includes monitoring and ensuring the efficient operation of assigned machinery, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing emergency repairs as needed. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, addressing technical issues promptly, and maintaining accurate maintenance logs. Working closely with engineering and production teams, the Maintenance Technician will support the seamless operation of overhead rail systems, conveyor systems, and other critical machinery. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Maintenance Technician - Summary- Core Linen Services seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for its commercial laundry operations.
- The Maintenance Technician will handle equipment upkeep, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs in a high-volume production environment.
- Responsibilities include ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and supporting overall plant productivity.

- Perform preventive maintenance activities on commercial laundry equipment as scheduled.
- Ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance and repair work, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
- Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including outside vendors, as necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs with entries for incomplete tasks and new or ongoing problems.
- Promptly notify production supervisors of any equipment issues that could impact production or cause downtime, and update them when equipment is back online.
- Diagnose and correct equipment issues, including jams, faulty or missing belts, and missing ironer tape.
- Seek technical assistance from engineering staff when necessary to resolve complex issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support plant operations.
