As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machinery and systems essential to the production process. You will take a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and emergent repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity in our commercial laundry plant. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing and maintaining conveyor systems, overhead rail systems, and mechanical drive systems, and ensuring that all equipment runs efficiently and safely. You will work collaboratively with other technical and mechanical personnel, including outside vendors, and communicate effectively with production supervisors to maintain optimal operations.

The Maintenance Technician must adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tag out procedures, confined space entry, and working on hot equipment. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace for yourself and your colleagues is essential. Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repair tasks in a commercial laundry plant environment.
- Ensures efficient operation of assigned equipment to support uninterrupted production processes.
- Works proactively to identify and address equipment issues, seeking technical assistance from engineering as necessary.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on all plant equipment as scheduled.
- Complete maintenance and repairs for overhead rail systems, conveyor systems, and mechanical drive systems in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including working with outside vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and emerging issues.
- Notify production supervisors of equipment status, particularly regarding potential impacts on production or downtime, and report when equipment is back online.
- Adhere to all workplace safety procedures, including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and hot equipment handling.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area for self and associates.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
