Maintenance Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on a variety of production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Maintain and repair presses, shears, winders, cutters, CNC machinery, lathes, grinders, and other types of industrial equipment
- Assist with welding, millwright work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and installation of new equipment as necessary
- Support machine fabrication, equipment restoration, and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
- Accurately document maintenance activities and keep comprehensive records for compliance and future reference
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical certificate or at least three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery, presses, lathes, grinders, and other industrial manufacturing equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
