Maintenance Technician - Summary- Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on residential properties
- Full-time role based in Memphis, TN
- Focus on high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- Work independently and as part of a team to resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Complete resident service requests and maintenance work orders promptly and professionally
- Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and general home maintenance
- Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections to address potential issues proactively
- Ensure all work meets company standards, safety protocols, and applicable building codes
- Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with residents and team members
- Identify and report safety hazards or property concerns to management
- Document work performed using a tablet for accurate record-keeping
- Travel locally within Memphis, TN, using a company-provided vehicle
- Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to changing weather conditions

- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience in residential maintenance, construction, remodeling, or related trades
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general home repairs
- EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal Certification required
- Valid driver's license and insurance, with the ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, prioritize workload, and work independently
- Comfortable using a tablet for work order management and data entry
- Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and travel within the local area
- Trade school education or vocational training preferred
- Experience in single-family or multi-family property maintenance
- Background in drywall, painting, roofing, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing repairs
- Knowledge of property management, renovation, or construction is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Work environment involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
- Frequent walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials and equipment required
