Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance department operations, including scheduling, workflow, and task delegation.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using best practices and industry standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance staff to achieve departmental goals and adhere to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues, implementing both immediate fixes and long-term corrective measures.
- Coordinate and oversee equipment installations, facility improvements, and third-party contractor projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, HACCP, and internal company standards.
- Manage the inventory and purchasing of parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with Operations and Production teams to improve equipment performance and overall facility efficiency.
- Maintain and control the maintenance budget, tracking departmental performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary contact for facility IT systems and other technical resources.
- Participate actively in Food Safety/HACCP programs, audits, and corrective action initiatives.

- Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems; CMMS experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of FDA, OSHA, EPA, and food safety regulations.
