CNC Machinist Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a full-time position in Duncanville, TX. This role is essential within our manufacturing team, focusing on the precise production of quality parts through both manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machining processes. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards, utilizing your technical expertise and attention to detail to deliver outstanding results. Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate mills, lathes, and a variety of machine tools, including both manual and CNC equipment.
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to ensure parts meet exacting tolerances and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machining equipment to maximize efficiency and uptime.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to meet production deadlines and quality goals.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a machinist or CNC machinist role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with manual and CNC machine operation, including setup, operation, and basic programming (programming experience is a plus, but not required).
- Strong competency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- High attention to detail and a consistent commitment to producing quality craftsmanship in every aspect of the job.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as effectively contribute to a team setting.
