Machine Operator - Summary- Operate, monitor, and maintain corrugated packaging machinery within a safety-first, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Utilize technical skills to ensure efficient machine performance and high-quality product output.
- Join a team-oriented company with more than 50 years in the industry and a network of manufacturing locations.
- Set up, operate, and adjust machines including McKinley D/C, Ward-66 Flexo Folder Gluer, 616 Martin, 244 EMBA, 140 Flexo Folder Gluer, Little Press Printer Slotter, and Bobst Pacific Folder Gluer.
- Follow technical specifications for each production run, ensuring machinery produces quality products according to set standards.
- Monitor machine operations, including flow, speed, and temperature, making real-time adjustments for optimal performance.
- Perform quality checks, verify product counts, and stack finished goods, maintaining strict adherence to specifications.
- Accurately enter production data into computer systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and the surrounding work area to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout and other required safety protocols at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to supervisors to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.

- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.
- Physically able to bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods in environments that may be hot or cold.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and clear verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and maintain a positive, safety-conscious attitude.
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED; prior experience operating corrugated converting machinery or similar equipment.
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn new technical skills.
- Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Values workplace safety and quality workmanship above all else.
- Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors.
