The Bilingual Licensed Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in supporting a successful State Farm Agent’s office by providing exceptional customer service to both English and Spanish-speaking clients. Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture positive customer relationships, ensuring ongoing communication and follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service, addressing inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing matters.
- Educate customers on available insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based approach.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a daily commitment to achieving success and exceeding client expectations.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of all customer interactions and tasks.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education relevant to the insurance industry.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Active Life and Health license, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively serve a diverse client base.
- Prior experience working with State Farm is required to ensure familiarity with company processes and standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
- Competence in learning and using various computer functions and software related to insurance operations.
- Pride in producing accurate work and meeting established deadlines.
