Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Summary
- Provide direct patient care and support for adult and geriatric populations.
- Utilize professional nursing theories and practices to deliver quality care.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of a broad range of medical disorders, diagnostic studies, and treatments related to illness prevention and detection in adults.
- Conduct patient assessments, contribute to care planning, and document findings using automated medical records systems.
- Prepare patients for treatments and clinical procedures, including surgical interventions according to established protocols.
- Perform and assist with clinic-specific procedures, ensuring adherence to medical facility and Joint Commission guidelines.
- Supervise paraprofessional staff involved in patient care and treatment.
- Set up, operate, and monitor specialized medical equipment such as IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers.
- Demonstrate consistent professionalism, honesty, and accountability in documentation, leave requests, and feedback processes.
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and patient-centric clinical environment.
Salary & Benefits
- Compensation complies with all applicable Federal or State regulations, including the Service Contract Act (SCA) and Area Wage Determination (AWD) tables.
- Starting rate is $36.00 per hour, or higher as required by law.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) approved program.
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of continuous employment as an LPN before starting work at the medical facility.
- Experience in acute care hospital settings or inpatient rehabilitation facilities/centers.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including word processing, data entry, and electronic medical records.
