Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Summary- Deliver patient-centered care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a collaborative clinical environment.
- Support the healthcare team in providing a high standard of nursing services to a diverse patient population.
- Contribute to Decypher’s mission of excellence and innovation in healthcare.
- Initiate, perform, and complete assigned nursing duties in the care of patients.
- Assess patient conditions and use sound judgment to prioritize and implement procedures and treatments.
- Accurately recognize, report, and document relevant patient information.
- Respond to patient needs, including medication administration, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education.
- Administer prescribed medications in accordance with policy (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous).
- Follow established protocols for treatments and maintain adherence to clinical standards.
- Recognize urgent or emergent care situations, promptly seek assistance, and initiate emergency interventions as directed.
- Assist with complex diagnostic tests and specialized procedures by preparing patients, handling equipment, and monitoring patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Orient peers and ancillary staff to unit policies, procedures, and clinical best practices.
- Integrate principles that foster a healthy work environment and enhance patient healthcare delivery, staff satisfaction, and education.
- Compensation complies with all applicable federal and state regulations, including Area Wage Determination (AWD) tables as required under the Service Contract Act (SCA).

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program approved by a recognized State agency and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Possess a valid, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year’s practical nursing experience post-graduation.
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and attention to detail in all aspects of patient care.
- Communicates effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adapts to changing clinical situations and prioritizes effectively in a fast-paced environment.
