Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
G & G Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. As an LPN, you will be an integral member of our healthcare team, providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in a range of clinical settings, including home care, hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Reporting to registered nurses and physicians, the LPN will contribute to the delivery of essential nursing services, help maintain a safe and supportive environment, and ensure the wellbeing of diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care by administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility support to promote comfort and independence.
- Accurately monitor, document, and report patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, ensuring timely communication with the healthcare team.
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational protocols.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Perform basic medical procedures within the scope of practice, such as suture assistance and ventilator support, under appropriate supervision.
- Deliver specialized care to patients with dementia and to infants, adapting care approaches as needed for each population.
- Educate patients and their families on effective health management, home care practices, and safe use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- Participate in travel nursing assignments when required to help meet patient care and staffing needs across different locations.
- Administer Botulinum toxin treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed physician, following established safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing medical records and clinical documentation processes to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, care delivery, and the ability to respond effectively to changing patient needs.
- Experience with suture techniques and basic surgical assistance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and experience in dementia care and best practices for supporting patients with cognitive impairments.
- Ability to operate ventilators and provide necessary respiratory support under supervision.
- Familiarity with administration of Botulinum toxin therapies is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple clinical tasks efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
