Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads by identifying prospective clients and scheduling appointments to discuss their insurance needs.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance products and services, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistent follow-up and support as customers' insurance needs evolve.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance coverage, policy changes, claims processing, and billing questions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
- Stay informed about State Farm products, services, and industry trends in order to provide customers with the most up-to-date information.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required for the Insurance Sales Agent (Licensed) position.
- Experience in insurance sales, outside sales, inside sales, or retail sales is preferred and will support your success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals or quotas is valued.
- Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential in engaging and assisting clients.
- Proven ability to multitask and effectively manage time and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to build lasting relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
