Insurance Sales Agent Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Sales Agent to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service and support to both new and existing clients. Responsibilities
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to match clients with appropriate insurance products and services.
- Market and sell a variety of insurance products, including property and casualty as well as life and health policies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring prompt follow-up and periodic reviews of their insurance needs.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing clarification.
- Meet and strive to exceed sales goals and quotas established by the agency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all insurance products and industry regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve office goals and support one another's success.
Requirements
- Insurance sales experience, with property & casualty and life/health licenses preferred.
- Previous experience in sales (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is beneficial.
- Demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and quotas preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills.
- Ability to relate well to customers and provide exceptional service at every interaction.
- Active 4-40 or 2-20 insurance license required.
- Active 2-15 insurance license required.

Work Schedule
The work schedule for this full-time Insurance Sales Agent position is 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with evenings and Saturdays available by appointment. This schedule supports a healthy work-life balance while allowing flexibility to meet client needs.
