Licensed Insurance Agent Position Overview
A Licensed Insurance Agent is sought to join a successful State Farm Agent team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are licensed in insurance sales and customer service, specifically holding an active Property and Casualty license such as the Florida 220 Agent License or 440 Customer Representative License. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting customers, providing comprehensive insurance solutions, and contributing to the agency’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, coverage options, claims, and billing questions.
- Educate customers about insurance products and options using a customer-focused, needs-based approach.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving daily success and meeting team goals.
- Assist with processing policy renewals, endorsements, and new applications in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education as required by the agency and state regulations.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the supervising agent.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience at all times.
- Contribute to the team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting agency initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active Florida 220 Agent License or 440 Customer Representative License (required).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and dedicated to exemplary customer service.
- Technological proficiency and ability to learn new computer functions relevant to insurance operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to completing work accurately and efficiently.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education as needed.
