Responsibilities
- Engage in customer-focused, needs-based conversations to educate clients about a range of insurance options, including personal lines, property, casualty, life, and health insurance products.
- Develop and maintain customer leads, schedule appointments, and assess customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance and financial products.
- Collaborate with management and office team members to achieve both individual and team sales goals.
- Utilize effective sales techniques, both over the phone and in person, to present products and close sales.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of insurance products to provide accurate information and guidance to clients.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales processes, and follow-up actions using agency systems.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and product offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance sales is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is desirable.
- Previous experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver product presentations both over the phone and in person.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for educating clients on the value of insurance and financial products to help manage risk and achieve financial security.
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
Certifications and Licensing
- Active Property and Casualty license required.
- Active Life and Health license required.
