Responsibilities
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs to recommend suitable insurance products and services.
- Market and sell a range of insurance products, including property and casualty, as well as life and health policies, to new and existing clients.
- Establish and nurture lasting relationships with clients, following up as necessary to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about policy availability, eligibility, coverages, changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to strategize solutions that meet client needs and promote business growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and State Farm agency standards.
Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license is required; Life & Health license is also preferred, or must be obtained before start date.
- Previous experience in insurance sales, outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals or quotas is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to relate to clients and provide a high standard of customer service.
