Eric Felth - State Farm Agency is seeking a motivated Insurance Sales Agent for a full-time position in Jefferson, WI. As a key team member in our award-winning agency, the Insurance Sales Agent will play an essential role in providing customers with tailored insurance solutions and outstanding service. This role is ideal for individuals who are licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health insurance and are committed to supporting customers in making informed decisions about their insurance needs. The position is in-office and requires daily collaboration with a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products, including auto, home, life, and other coverages.
- Market a variety of insurance products and services to meet established sales goals.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and personalized communication.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Assist customers with the insurance application process and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry regulations and State Farm policies.
Qualifications
- Active State of Wisconsin Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Active State of Wisconsin Life & Health insurance license (required).
- Previous insurance sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to relate effectively to customers and build lasting relationships.
