Insurance Sales Agent Job OverviewAWA Insurance is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Insurance Sales Agent for a full-time opportunity in Fort Myers, FL. As an Insurance Sales Agent, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with their changing insurance needs by offering a range of personal lines insurance products, including Homeowners, Auto, and other property and casualty coverage options. This position is ideal for individuals who hold an active insurance license and are passionate about helping clients secure reliable insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop leads and schedule appointments to expand the client base in the Fort Myers, FL area as a full-time Insurance Sales Agent.
- Identify customer needs and effectively market appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring tailored recommendations for each client.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, following up as necessary to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and quotas set by the agency, demonstrating a commitment to achieving targets in a full-time role.
- Active Property & Casualty license is required for the Insurance Sales Agent position; Life & Health license preferred.
- Prior insurance sales experience is preferred, but individuals with a background in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing are encouraged to apply.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is an advantage.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential for success as an Insurance Sales Agent in Fort Myers, FL.
