Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business through lead generation, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer insurance needs.
- Present and market appropriate insurance products and services to clients based on their unique requirements.
- Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships by providing ongoing support and timely follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions within the agency management system.
- Stay up to date with changes in insurance regulations and industry trends to effectively address client needs.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and sharing best practices.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Life & Health insurance license (preferred).
- Previous insurance sales experience or related sales background such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing (preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen and respond to customer needs effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous learning and personal improvement.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to a diverse customer base.
