Responsibilities
- Develop and manage leads, schedule client appointments, and assess individual customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish, maintain, and enhance customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Market a broad portfolio of insurance products, including property & casualty, life, and health insurance, according to client requirements and agency standards.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance quotas through effective prospecting, consultative selling, and closing techniques.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, policy changes, and follow-up activities using agency systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Life & Health insurance license (preferred or willingness to obtain as soon as possible).
- Demonstrated experience in insurance sales, outside or inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales goals and quotas.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
