Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads through proactive outreach and relationship-building strategies.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance and financial needs.
- Recommend and market suitable insurance products and services, including auto, fire, life, and health insurance.
- Establish and nurture ongoing customer relationships, providing follow-up support as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, claims submissions, transfers, and billing questions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Meet individual and team sales targets while upholding the agency’s commitment to professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Active Auto, Fire, Life, and Health insurance licenses are required for this position.
- Previous experience in sales, either in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing, is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills are essential for effective client interactions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities to manage multiple client needs and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Possession of both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses is required.
