Insurance Sales Agent Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Insurance Sales Agent to join our award-winning State Farm agency team. This full-time position is based in Huntington Beach, CA and offers a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term client relationships. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will play an integral role in helping individuals and families secure the insurance coverage they need, while also advancing your own professional career in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively develop leads through outreach, networking, and referrals to grow the agency’s customer base in the Huntington Beach, CA area.
- Schedule appointments, conduct needs assessments, and recommend appropriate insurance products and services including Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) policies.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring a remarkable and personalized customer experience.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to inquiries related to product availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy modifications, transfers, claims, and billing matters.
- Consistently follow up with customers as needed to address concerns, clarify information, and offer additional support or products.
- Achieve established sales goals and quotas through effective sales techniques and continuous motivation.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required for this Insurance Sales Agent position in Huntington Beach, CA. Candidates must either hold or be able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license.
- Previous insurance sales experience is preferred; experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is also valued.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen attentively and relate to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
