Licensed Insurance Sales Agent Job Overview
Jim Olson - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated, full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Agent. This role is ideal for bilingual professionals fluent in both Spanish and English who are passionate about helping clients with their insurance needs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments with potential and existing clients to discuss their insurance needs.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate State Farm products and services, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance solutions.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships while providing ongoing support and follow-up as needed to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service, responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Collaborate with the agency team to strategize solutions that build customer confidence and promote shared success.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required to effectively serve a diverse client base.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required; Life & Health license is preferred.
- Previous experience in insurance sales is preferred, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas.
- Experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is beneficial.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and understand customer needs.
