Licensed Insurance Sales Agent Job OverviewJeff Sallee - State Farm Agency is seeking a motivated and dedicated Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our full-time team in Overland Park, KS. Responsibilities- Develop leads and proactively schedule appointments to consult with prospective and existing clients about their insurance needs.
- Identify customer requirements and market suitable State Farm insurance products and services, including property & casualty as well as life & health insurance options.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by following up regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any ongoing needs or questions.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and customer-focused service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Collaborate with team members and support agency goals by participating in strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Active Life & Health insurance license required.
- Prior insurance sales experience is preferred and highly valued.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time across various responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively relate to customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Sales experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is preferred but not required.
