Licensed Insurance Sales Agent Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our award-winning insurance agency. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the agency’s mission of providing outstanding customer service and tailored insurance solutions to our clients. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping people secure their financial futures and want to grow within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads through proactive outreach, networking, and value-based conversations with prospective clients.
- Schedule and conduct appointments with clients to identify their insurance needs and offer appropriate products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent follow-up and client satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfer requests, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve agency sales goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in accordance with agency procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in insurance sales, with a preference for candidates holding Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Candidates without these licenses must be able to obtain them.
- Background in sales, such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to listen actively and respond effectively.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to a diverse client base.
