Licensed Insurance Sales Agent Job Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a Property and Casualty license and recent experience working with State Farm products and services. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, your primary focus will be on developing leads, connecting with prospective clients, and selling insurance solutions designed to meet customers’ needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and customer service within the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate leads through various channels to expand the customer base and drive business growth.
- Schedule appointments with potential clients to discuss insurance products and identify individual coverage needs.
- Market and sell appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and retention.
- Follow up with customers as needed to address questions, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Ability to obtain a Life & Health insurance license is necessary.
- Recent experience with State Farm products and practices is highly preferred.
- Strong background in insurance sales, with a preference for candidates who have experience in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing roles.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Exceptional ability to multitask and effectively manage time and priorities.
- Able to build positive relationships and relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
