Grimes Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Insurance Sales Agent (P&C) to join our team on a full-time basis in Lubbock, TX. This is an in-office position, ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping clients secure the right insurance coverage while building lasting relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain new client relationships by actively reaching out to potential customers and guiding them through the insurance enrollment process.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key referral partners to generate new business opportunities for the agency.
- Cross-sell additional lines of insurance to existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are fully met and providing comprehensive service.
- Participate in networking activities, including professional organizations, association meetings, and local mixers, to expand the agency’s reach within the Lubbock, TX community.
- Complete all required paperwork and accurately input client information into the agency’s software system following each sale.
- Manage inbound client calls, providing knowledgeable and courteous assistance to address inquiries and support ongoing client needs.
- Attend and support community and local events to promote the agency and its services.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty insurance license (P&C) required.
- Three or more years of experience in the insurance industry preferred.
- Ability to work on-site at the Lubbock, TX office location.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Professional demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to handle rejection constructively.
- Confident, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a positive outlook and a sense of humor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook, as well as experience using a CRM system.
- Demonstrated qualities of patience, respect, reliability, trustworthiness, ethics, and honesty.
