State Farm Agency, located in Athens, TN has an immediate opening for a full-time Licensed Insurance Office Manager. We seek a detail-oriented professional with stellar customer service and collaboration skills to support our agency and community by promoting State Farm products and services.
As an Office Manager you will support our agency to continually achieve its goals. Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered for this role:
1. Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.
2. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Athens, TN. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure the office is well-maintained and continuously equipped to successfully meet customer needs and market relevant products.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience in customer service required
- Experience in managing customer service preferred
- Experience in sales preferred
- Proactive in problem-solving
- Able to work in and manage a team environment
- Experience in Windows computer applications
- Able to coordinate and collaborate with others to achieve agency goals
- Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Property and Casualty License (required)
- Life and Health License (must be able to obtain)
