Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (Property & Casualty, Life & Health) to join a dedicated team as a full-time member. This role involves working with a State Farm independent contractor agent to deliver high-quality insurance solutions and customer support. An active Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license are required for this position. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service within a fast-paced insurance agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture customer relationships, providing ongoing support as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
- Deliver accurate, prompt, and courteous customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, policy changes, claim submissions, billing, and coverage options.
- Educate customers on insurance products and options through a customer-focused, needs-based review process.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a daily commitment to success and quality outcomes.
- Utilize excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening) to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent, ensuring clear documentation of all client interactions and transactions.
- Stay current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education as required by the insurance industry.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license (required).
- Active Life and Health license (required).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a commitment to professionalism and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to problem solving and daily tasks.
- Able to learn and use relevant computer functions efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
