Tammy Steele-Kidd, State Farm Agency, located in Parma, OH, is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Customer Service / Sales Professional. If you have a talent for customer care and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team!
As our Customer Service Sales Representative, you’ll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience. Only candidates who meet the following criteria will be considered for this role:
- Prior State Farm or other related insurance experience.
- Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.
- Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Parma, OH. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Answer phones and greet clients.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements
- Ohio Property & Casualty license (required)
- Ohio Life and Health license (required)
- Prior State Farm or other related insurance experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce/ECRM/Necho
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to assess customer needs and pivot to a sales as needed
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
