Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C) - Summary- Utilize your Property and Casualty license to provide expert insurance service and support
- Engage with customers to understand their insurance needs and offer solutions
- Foster strong client relationships through value-driven conversations and consistent follow-up
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service in every interaction
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, following up as needed to ensure satisfaction
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions
- Use a customer-focused approach to educate clients about insurance products and services
- Maintain a commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic every day
- Provide thorough and timely activity reports to the agent
- Stay current on product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education
- Base pay with opportunities for bonuses and commissions
- PTO including vacation and personal/sick days
- Valuable industry experience in a supportive agency environment
- Potential for growth and advancement within the agency
- Active Property & Casualty license (required)
- Life & Health license preferred but not required
- Previous State Farm experience highly valued; prior insurance experience required if no State Farm background
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving and learning new computer functions
- Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, with a passion for helping others
- Driven, people-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Open to learning and staying current with industry changes and requirements
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- This position is with an independent contractor agent, not State Farm Insurance Companies
- Employees must complete all applicable licensing requirements and training programs
- Independent contractor agents hire their own employees, who are not employees of State Farm
